How We Use Your Information

  • Assign drivers  

  • Send ride-related notifications  

  • Notify you of driver arrival

We do not use your mobile phone number for marketing unless you separately opt in. 

 

WhatsApp Messaging 

By submitting a transportation request through the GTC Taxi application, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages related to your transportation requests.

  • Estimated arrival time  

  • Driver arrival notification  

  • Pickup confirmation  

  • Trip status updates

Message frequency varies depending on your transportation requests. 

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and messaging plan. 

 

Opt-Out 

Employees may stop receiving WhatsApp notifications by: 

  • Contacting their employer's transportation administrator  

  • Contacting GTC Taxi support  

  • Updating notification preferences within the application (where available)  

Please note that disabling notifications may prevent you from receiving important transportation updates. 

 

Mobile Information Privacy 

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. 

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. 

We may share limited information only with trusted service providers that help us deliver our transportation services, including cloud hosting providers, mapping services, messaging providers, and transportation dispatch systems. These providers are contractually required to use your information solely for providing the requested services and not for marketing purposes. 

 

Data Security 

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
